I know for a fact most of this is gibberish unless you know most of Valve's work.
Now anyone who played Left 4 Dead knows of Bill. The veteran solider in your group. Kinda like Hannibal he's always smoking a cigarette. The voice actor for Bill is a very interesting choice that I would of never linked him to his other Valve game.
Jim French, voice of Bill, also voiced a semi insane priest who helps you through a zombie infested town of Ravenholm in the game Half Life 2. The mad Father Grigori is now the wise veteran solder Bill. Now that is almost nothing to the next few shocks I got.
Zoey, the hiker in the group. She is seen wearing a pink hoodie and is quite skittish. She get scared easily but she's great with double pistols. Zoey is voice by Jen Taylor an actress I was surprised to learn the history about.
Cortana, Master Chiefs computer AI, is the voice inside your head through the three Halo Games. An iconic voice you remember over and over again and she bothers you with useful info and some comedy. Cortana is voice by Jen Taylor. From a alien fighting to Zombie Apocalypse, guess that isn't much of a jump really. The only part that is shocking is that Jen is also done quite a bit of voice work for Mario games as she turns into Princess Peach.
Rochelle has a more TV role that shocked me good. Rochelle is from Left 4 Dead 2. She is the... Best way to describe her is sorta annoy sorta awesome. She is a Depeshe Mode fan, hence her shirt is about her favorite band. What is shocking about Rochelle's character is that is literally her real name. Rochelle Aytes plays Rochelle. Now other than that interesting turn is the fact that Rochelle played Tara Cole in the episode Knockout on NCIS, 2009.
Ellis, the Hilly Billy Mechanic in L4D2, is played by Eric Ladin. I'm jumping through this one as link his desciption there isn't much but the fact he also played on NCIS back in 2003 during the episode Rosa Sub. Oddly enough this is the first episode McGee appears in. Eric plays Privet Officer Thompson. This makes him the first out of 2 L4D voice actors to have appeared in a minor role on NCIS and on TV.
Coach is more noticeable. Coach is just that a F. High School Coach. He is played by Chad Coleman. Chad played Dennis Wise in the Wire for 36 episodes. He is by the the most reoccurring character on a TV out of all the L4D voice actors Chad also did K 109 for GTA IV.
Now the last interesting, funny fact I ran over is about Fallout 3.
James, your father in the game, is played by Liam Neeson. What is so special about him? Liam has played quite a few major roles. Including Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia, Hannibal in the new A Team movie, Zeus in the new Clash of the Titans movie, Bryan Mills in Taken, and Henry Ducard in Batman Begins.
Now that I am done geeking out I can promptly say that WoW has taken over my life for the moment along with Fanfiction. I hope to be back with actual news that means something to you all soon.
Geeks Rule, Jocks Drool.
